Day 17: Priority Seats

Every time we ride the train, we always make certain that we get to seat on those Priority Seats. We don't always get to because it is not only the aged, the pregnant, the disabled, and those with children rush to these seats -- there are also the young and abled. Luckily, on this particular ride, we were able to, and with iPhone in hand, took this shot. My little boy likes to watch out the window during these rides.

Since I missed two days worth of pictures, here is another picture.

One of the reasons we like to have all 4 priority seats is that -- my boy gets to play around in this relatively tiny space. I can't really tell what he is doing on that picture -- but I bet it is very interesting.

Day 16: Cups

My morning buddy cups.

I did realize something out from this project though, it is that I like taking pictures early in the morning.

Day 15: Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Cocoa, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, and a Banana

Day 14: Sunset

I've always wanted to take a sunset shot. However, during this season, the sun starts setting at around 4PM and I don't get off from work until 5:30. By the time I do get out of the office, it is dark as black coffee.

This is a shot (with my iPhone) from the Refresh Room of our office -- as you can see -- like the peons that we are -- we are caged in. even the window glasses are reinforced with steel wires.

Day 13: Hand

Imagine -- as you enter the living room from the kitchen, as you glance around for your little baby, and you see the picture above -- how would you think you'd feel? Seeing that -- a protruding hand that is motionless and pale and covered in a pillow -- I'd say you will also feel as shocked as I felt.

That really isn't my baby's hand, by the way, it's E.T's. Count the fingers -- 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Day 12: Swing

It such a perfect day. With the sun shining brightly but sadly it is just there hanging like a decoration in the sky because you can't feel its heat in this cold and windy day.

My son and I spent a little time at the park. With him doing his thing on the swings, I took the time to snap some pictures. I forgot my DSLR and going back home is a remote option at this point or else you will to listen to a whole of lot of nagging and crying.

Day 10: Watch

A clock, a watch, whatever, as long as it tells me that I'm about to get sleepy and I should put up a new post.

And this is the usual time in the evening that I do my posts.

Did some minor post-processing with this one.

Day 7 and 8: Snow

It snowed so heavily from yesterday morning until this morning. Figured out -- I would just make Days 7 and 8's theme the same.

I used my Canon Powershot A710IS for these shots. I didn't even dared to risk my DSLR in that cold and snowy weather.

This is a Japanese sign board buried deep within around 2-3 inches of snow.

That is supposed to be us -- my family. I used my bare hands when I made it -- and the result -- you don't have to tell me. Although I did learn the one thing from all this, never brace the cold. I swear I was wearning around 5 shirts under that coat and it still brought chills down my spine -- literally.

Day 6: Aliens

These are my aliens. I just met them and I'm planning to put them in the office, and let them do all the clerical work.

Here they are trying to open the Twitter App. If E.T wanted to phone home, these little aliens want to "Tweet" home.

And here they are again, attempting to sabotage my laptop by disconnecting and destroying the power source if I don't give in to their demand one and only demand. Their demand? Tweet home of course!

Day 5: Hangin'

Day 5 came in a little late. Fatigue got the best of me.

You might have figured out already that this was taken during one of the laundry sessions.

One of the hangers was just desperately hangin' there just to be considered as part of the group.

Day 4: Nikon

For the curious, I know I was, what do you think a Nikon is?

Here you go:
Nikon is actually a noun - 1605–81, patriarch of Russian Orthodox Church 1652–66.

Now, why Nikon Nikon?

Day 3: Signs

”自転車を停めないでください.”

In English, I think this will translate into something like -- "Please don't park your bicycles here."

Day 2: Blue

This was actually taken yesterday during our long 6.6km stroll just to buy a couple of Lucky Me Noodles.

Again, no post-processing done with this one.

Day 1: 60

Day 1 Entry for my pet photography project -- Project 365.

A macro shot of a part of my watch. No post-processing done to it what so ever. Well, it's primarily because I don't have the software to do post-processing on.

I really don't have a macro lens either. I just used the BR-2A Macro Adapter Ring on my 50mm 1.8D.

I believe this is just the second time I've used the adapter ring, 'coz during the first try, I found out that I really don't have very steady hands. And with the adapter ring, one really needs to have very steady hands.
